    1. [ILSANGAM-L] Stevens-Antle
    2. I tried to send this information directly to Debbie, but it keeps bouncing. It is rather long and I apologize to the list for this. Hi Debbie, Martha Antle Stevens was the daughter of my GG Grandparents, Rev. John Antle and Elizabeth Buchanan Antle.  I don't have a lot on Martha and nothing on Simon, but I am forwarding the information that I do have.  Hope this helps. Alyce Antle Beggs Descendants of Martha Antle Generation No. 1 1.  MARTHA7 ANTLE  (JOHN6, HENRY5, PETER4, HENRY3 ANTILL, JAMES2, RICHARD1) was born August 08, 1818 in KY, and died May 17, 1890 in Salisbury, IL.  She married SIMON T. 3. Posted on: Sangamon County, Il Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/Sangamon/1881 Surname: Stevens, Stephens, Antle ------------------------- Looking for info on Simon or Simeon Stevens who came to Sangamon County sometime in the 1830's. He married Martha Antle daughter of John Antle in 1839 and they had at least 4 sons, John, Marshall, George, and Willard. George and Willard are buried in the Salisbury Cemetery in Sangamon County. Simon claims to have been born in Vermont. Would like to know who Simon's parents are, and where Simon and Martha are buried. Simon would have been born about 1814. There maybe a connection to the Tenney family since the name Tenney is used often as a middle name. Thanks in advance Debbie

    3. Posted on: Sangamon County, Il Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/Sangamon/1880 Surname: Morris, Dubois ------------------------- I am looking for the family of Lincoln Dubois, great-grandson of Joshua Morris. Joshua b. 1753 in James City county, Virginia, was a great Baptist preacher from Kentucky and Virginia. In a book," The Ancestry of Grafton Johnson," it states; During this period (1776?) occurred the first marriage of Joshua Morris to Lucy, whose last name is undetermined, for in his bethumbed old Bilbe bound in calfskin, owned by his great-grandson, Lincoln Dubois, of Springfield, Illinois, the year of their daughter Mary is set down in his own handwritting as 1777. I would like more information on Lincoln Dubois family connection.

I am searching a Caudle family that I lost. Naomi Smith was first married to a Weddle, who died. Her second husband was Thomas Caudle. Thomas Caudle (born about 1830) married first Margaret. Their children were Mary (1850), William (1852), Sarah (1854) and Pleasant (1857). He then married Naomi Smith and they had the following: Noah(1869), Berkely (1872), Joseph (1873), Rosetta (1876) and Isabella (1876) All days of birth are approximate, based on census records. During this time they were residents of Wayne Co. Illinois. Thomas either died or they were divorced and Naomi moved onto Idaho with one of her daughters from a first marriage. I don't know if she took any of her Caudle children with her or what, but am trying to work on this line of the Smiths. I have the Smith line back to 1600s but have been trying to bring the children of Amos and Marium Smith up to the 1900s. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
