The 48th annual reunion of the descendants of George Henry Miller (1834-1907) and Mary Jane Tomlinson (1836-1892) will be held Sunday, June 27, at the Masonic Lodge Building in Warrensburg, Illinois. A pot luck luncheon will begin at 12:30 PM sharp. The family of George Henry and Mary Jane Miller moved from Henry County, Indiana to Wayne County, Illinois in 1871, and from thence to Logan County, Illinois in 1886. Many of their descendants still live in Logan, Macon, Sangamon, and surrounding counties. Researchers interested in this couple and their descendants are cordially invited to contact me: Guy I. Radford(possibly a married name) who married my ancestor Moses Martin in the Sangamon Co. area,I think in the 1830's.A much later census in Arkansas shows her born in Kentucky..Moses Martin(supposed to be 1/2 Indian) was a widower with children and in his 40's (he had lost his wife Jenny Sumpter,on the way from Tennessee to Illinois)and Unicy was 13 or 14 yrs old when they married...the record seems to show her as a divorced woman !!! at that tender age....There was a James Radford living nearby.........They went on to have a number of children together....does this ring a bell with anyone???
