But, by that time his memory may have been a few years off. He bought land in Livingston county in 1891 under the name Henry C Wyckoff. Monday night's speaker will be Rev. Harry Neuman who will talk about the Richland settlement in Cartwright Township, Sangamon County. This area is now known as Pleasant Plains. Our meetings are open to the public and start at 7:00 pm in Springfield's Public Library in the Carnigee Room south. We are now open on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 9:00 pm, donations towards the maintenance of the utilities and building are always welcome.
