    3. I plan on being at the auction. I doubt that I will be able to compete for the bidding on the quilt. But, if I am lucky enough to win the bid I DO plan on donating the quilt to the Gen. Library or Historical Society at the museum, The owners of the shop are my husbands family and Trust me I did some fancy talking to try and get the quilt donated.... It really makes me upset that some people are into gathering historical pieces and then it is all for the money. I feel like that is what is going to happen. I don't want to talk out of turn but it really makes me upset that some people not actively researching their family members can be so into to the money that may be drawn from just such a piece of history... I hope that whoever gets the quilt they will donate it or display it for all to see... Then put it away somewhere safe for our future families...
