STILWELL, Mrs. ROGERS, Mrs. Daisy BAKER and Miss Jessie RICHARDSON were among those who went over to Eldorado Saturday evening to attend a meeting of the Eastern Stars, returning on the 10:20 car. Building M.W. Church at Muddy: The Methodists of Muddy are building a church, the lot for same being donated by the O'Gara Coal Company Mortuary: The two-weeks-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.E. LEDFORD died Sunday morning Interment took place at the city cemetery in the afternoon. Birth Record: To Mr. and Mrs. Ronas RUDVILLE of South Granger street, Sunday, a boy. Dr. BOOTH goes to lecture in Texas: Dr. A. E. BOOTH left Monday morning for Fort Worth, Tex., where he will deliver a series of lectures on the men's class movement to the student body of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. During his stay in the Lone Star State, Dr. BOOTH will also address the congregation of the Columbus Street Baptist church at Waco. Monday forenoon in county court Judge STILWELL made the following orders regarding defendants convicted on liquor charges in trials held last week: Alex KOLTA: motion for new trial overruled: sentence imposed: Fine $100, 30 days in jail. Roy and Essie FARMER: motion for new trial overruled: sentence imposed on each defendant: $100 fine. 30 days in jail. Charles PRICE: sentenced to pay fine of $300 and serve 90 days in jail. The afternoon proceedings were as follows: Walter PRICE, convicted of selling liquor; motion for new trial overruled; sentence imposed: Fine $400, and 120 days in jail. With the latter case court adjourned for the day having assessed $1000 in fines and imposed jail sentences totaling 300 days. Thursday morning Judge STILWELL will hear the motion for a new trial in the Walter Garrison case, after which court will adjourn for the term. But few cases will be carried over for trial in the next term, and the docket is well cleared up. Four boys under sixteen years of age were before Judge STILWELL Monday morning for hearings on delinquency charges. Harry CHAMPION was ordered committed to reformatory at St. Charles. He is a Harrisburg lad. Paul NICKENS and Dewey BURKS, Eldorado youths were paroled to relatives. Paul's father, J.W. NICKENS, will be responsible for him, and Al DUNN, Dewey's uncle, will be in charge of him. Tony SERPENIS of Ledford was also before the judge, and a part of the evidence in his case was heard.
