Hi Danielle. You must have subscribed to the Saline County Geneology email list. Kay posted a question (yesterday?) about the Threat/Threet family... That email goes out to everyone on the list. You probably saw one yesterday from me about Joe Smith, even. See, we all get the emails that are posted. So, everyone on the list got your email about your grandfather, see what I mean? That's the way an email list works. You have now posted to everyone on the list about your grandfather and hopefully someone, who knows, maybe even my Pop, Don, will be able to help you. I doubt Pop will know much though, as he was born in 1934, years after your grandfather died. You know that an email has come from the email list when you see [ILSALINE-L] in the subject. Good luck!! I have been getting e mails for someone named Kay--think it might be an address error...Don't want someone to miss out on some important info--if you have any info about my great grandpa Frank Shaw prior to his death in 1920/21 I'd be interested--his death was considered a suicide, but his throat was cut through the windpipe almost ear to ear. My grandmother (Grace) could never bring herself to talk of the tragedy, but the rest of us think it was foul play. My mother was born on the Eldorado farm in 1930 and passed in 2003. I have found many of her papers and notes on the Shaw/Mott/Bauer/Ozee families but we can't get much info about Frank Shaw or James Henry Mott. Any ideas of who I could contact from that area?
