I was curious about your comments about Harry Truman visiting Harrisburg. I subscribe to the Newspaper section of <ancestry.com> and found the article where President Truman visited Saline Co. The date was Thur. Sept. 30, 1948. The president drove through Harrisburg and on to Eldorado where he made a brief speech. Mary Ann _cematapey@aol.com_ (mailto:cematapey@aol.com)
Wow! Thank you Mary Ann. May I impose on you to look for just one more thing? My grgrgr grandmother Nancy Pearl Randolph died in Saline Co. at 100+ years old. Supposedly there was an article in the paper there. I don't know if ancestry would have things like that, but if you wouldn't mind, would you look? Thanks so much.
