Post Office Twp. 10 R 5 140/140 Evans, Lowell Age 51 born: IL. Susan 50 Al. Almin 17 IL. Mary 14 " 142/142 Middleton, Columbus age 48 born: Tn. Farmer Catherine 21 IL. Susan 6 " Molly J. 3 " Sarah E. 1880 C. Saline Co., Harrisburg, IL. P. O. Twp. 10 R 5 Middleton, J. C. Age 42 Farmer b: Tn. Father b: Tn. Mother b: Tn. Occ. Farmer Katherine 33 IL. Tn. Al. Susan 15 " Sarah 11 " Luetta (?) 8 " Cordelia 5 " Idila 1 " Note: Molly J. is missing on this C. so have to assume she died between 1870 and 1880 1900 C. Scott Co., Mo. Richland Adkins, William age 38 b: Sept 1861 IL. Susan C. 35 June 1865 " Lou A. 13 Sep 1886 " Nida 10 Nov. 1889 " Tessie 8 Dec 1891 IL. Melvin 1 July 1898 MO. Joseph C. 0/12 mo. May 1900 Mo. Middleton, Nancy C. 53 Apr 1847 Widowed b: IL. " Bessie 63 July 1836 Single " Conclusion from the above census leads me to believe that Joseph C. Middleton died between 1880 and 1900 and probably in IL. By looking at the birth places of the children of Susan we can assume that perhaps the whole family moved to Mo. around 1897/1898. Joseph C. Middleton could have died in the early 1890's. Sorry I have not found a burial place for him but someone with the Saline Co. Cemetery books should be able to assist you in that. Shirley: I looked up your Alfred Dunn on the 1910, 1920 and 1930 Census. I did not find a Mary Dunn but she could have been born after 1930. Hope this helps. Jane 1910 IL. Pope Co., Polk Pct. Nellie 27 " " 21 John 21 Rosalee 5 Loren 3 Lovina 1 Note: Looks like Lewis has died or else he was working outside the home. Also the marriage date of Alfred and Nellie seems to be around 1924. There was a Lewis G. Dunn died in Independence Twp, Saline Co. in 1927 Oct. 10. Don't know if this is the correct one or not. Could be an error in the middle initial. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shirley Reeder STORIE" <samestorie@webtv.net> To: <ILSALINE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 26, 2006 7:43 PM Subject: Re: [ILSALINE-L] Re: ILSALINE-D Digest V06 #4 > I am looking for information on a Wm.Alfred Dunn born Mar.23 1877 in Saline co.to John Jackson and Nancy M.Reed Dunn. His first wife was Eva Griffith,#2 wife was Nellie Hill.Wm.and Nellie are buried in Pleasent Ridge cem.He was also a Rev.I only know of one child and she was Mary Dunn Boatright.Could someone look and see if they can find his household and a listing of his family?
