FACT: George Crisel married Harriett Trammel Woodruff 12-29-1849 Hamilton County, Illinois ( Harriett married Unknown Trotter by 1849, so George & Harriett must have divorced before 1849?) FACT: George A. Crisel b. abt 1813 KY. m. Melinda Proctor 9-25-1837 Hamilton County, Illinois; family in 1850 census. In 1860 Census, Malinda is alone with children - Did this George die? Or did they divorce? Did she remarry to a Tolbert in 1865? FACT: George N. Crisel b. abt 1813 KY m. Delilia Stobaugh 9-11-1845 HCI; family in 1850 census; so these two George Crisel's b. 1813 KY cannot be same guy!!!!! Also, 1860 Census, I find still another George Crisel, b. abt 1815 KY, married to Perlina Unknown. There is a Michael T., age 10 b. Illinois amongst the children. George & Delilia Stobaugh Crisel had a son Michael T. Crisel b. 1-29-1849. Anyone have any input on good ol' George? He's almost as popular as William Davis in HCI! George A. Jr. Crisel, s/o George & Elizabeth Word/Ward Crisel, b. 1-1-1813, KY; d 4-26-1863; buried Crisel Cemetery. Which one might he be? HELP!!!!!
