The following newspaper article was sent to me several years ago, but I just recently found it again, while I was looking for something else ~ story of my life! I included the relationships that I knew; can anyone else help me with the others? Were they friends or family? Also Mrs. Jennings [U.S.'s wife] was his second wife who he married after 1920, does anyone know who she was? Any help would be appreciated. Judy Lee Harrisburg Daily Register ~ 27 April 1931 Twins Celebrate 63rd Anniversary Mrs. Mary [Jennings] Peel of Golconda [Pope Co IL] and U.S. Jennings of Rudement [Saline Co IL] are twins [children of Elijah & Mary Jane Soward Jennings], who were sixty-three years of age Sunday, April 26 and their birthdays were celebrated together with a basket dinner attended by numerous friends. The celebration was held at the home Mr. and Mrs. Jennings, lasting until late afternoon, during which friends feasted together and sang several old familiar songs.
