    3. Jane - I don't know if this helps any or not, but in the 1880 Census, Richard and Alcy C. are living in Raleigh. Three of their children from that Census - Drucilla, Edward, and Cora - list their mother's maiden name as LAMPKINS when they marry. Alcy and Richard are buried together at the Raleigh Masonic Cemetery .From the info on the headstone she was born 22 Feb 1837 and died 20 June 1883. Census info says she was born in TN. Julia RHINE DeJARNETT SMITH is buried as Julia DeJARNETT with her first husband, John B. DeJARNETT at the Rhine Cemetery in Long Branch Twp. I can find no record of the marriage for Richard and Alcy either.
