It's been a couple of years since I posted a query on the Hollands - any researchers/descendants out there? My 3rd great-grandfather was James Holland, born abt 1811 TN, died 1865 Saline Co. Married Elizabeth Dorris, d/o Elijah Dorris 1833 Gallatin Co. Also in Gallatin/Saline Co. during the same time frame was a probable brother, John Holland, born 1801-1804 TN, died 1880 Saline Co. Married Isabenda Stiff 1830 Gallatin Co. I've never been able to identify the parents of James and John, tie them in to any of the other Hollands in southern IL or establish where in TN they were born - possibly came from the area around Sumner Co., relocating to IL at the same time as the Dorris family. Any information or clues would be most appreciated. Kay Davidson
