I would love to have information on James Tate, who family history says was a circuit rider for the Primitive Baptist Church for 31 years, as well as a farmer and merchant. He is buried at Rector Cemetery, along with other of his family members, in Hamilton County, IL. He was born October 16, 1827 in TN and died October 25, 1881 in Hamilton County. If my information is correct, is there any way to get a copy of his records as a minister?
