I hope someone there in Saline County or another researcher can help me locate the death and burial place of my Grandfather Canalas Meander Scott (aka C.M.; Corneilas; Carnalas, Carnalis) and Grandmother America Vienna (Williams) Scott. Grandfather was born 29 Jan 1852 in Hamilton Co IL and married Grandmother when he was 25, living in Plainview IL. They were married 27 Mar 1879. They were in Saline Co IL according to U. S. Census 1880. Their children were born in Eldorado IL (Saline County). The youngest was born after 1891 so I'm sure they must be buried there in Saline County. Can anyone help me find this information, please. Also have an Uncle Charley Thomas Scott, their oldest son, who was born about 1882 and died in about 1968 or thereafter. He lived many years in Saline County where I met him (Harrisburg) when I was about 11 years old. He is buried there in the county and it would be somewhere around Harrisburg? I would appreciate any help you can give me. I don't have a way to get there and physically search. I live in the Sacramento Metropolitan area and am 63 years old. Have only a few gaps like those of the above to be filled in on my family. Thanks, I'm doing this for my grandsons, Scott and Philip.
