    3. That was your share of the profit. Believe it or not, that passes down from gen. to gen.... ours passed down 4 that I know of (to my parents), until about 15 years ago... we had a family member that was a partner with a few others and leased out the rights to big corp (this was in franklin co)..... they got annual checks, and when they died it went to their heirs (it cuts drastically) and so forth... my mothers last check was a total of $14, the first generation received a few thousand. What was interesting was to see the annual statement (one of the last ones) and see the names of everyone (all partners, and their descendants).... it was several hundred people. Just another nice piece of paper trail to be looking for :-))) I know the next question is, where do you find it, and the answer is I don't know (I'm looking for more)<g> Best Regards, Trev ----- Original Message ----- From: <SSpunk@aol.com> To: <ILSALINE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, 15 November, 2000 9:15 PM Subject: [ILSALINE-L] Re: land > Appreciate it folks.
