Faith, I will check tomorrow (or soon) and see if I have anything about him. I am pretty sure your information given is correct. I know we do not have his actual "papers" (such as a journal, or diary, or writings, etc., if that is what you mean). His name would appear in minutes of the Muddy River Association which we have, (possibly a resolution of respect at the time of his death, etc.) Is there something in particular you wish to know? Robert, Not knowing exactly what types of information your records contain, I don't really know. Maybe there would be baptismal records, marriage records, etc., perhaps for some of his family members as well. My brother, who is now deceased, told me that he read a history of him (perhaps in an IL History Book). Thought maybe there would be something similar to this in your records. I would appreciate anything you find that would give me a feel for his life. In my research, I also find a Rev. William Tate. Don't know for sure what church, but James' father was William. If you happen to find anything to that effect, there are several of us interested in William. Thanking you again, Faith ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert L Webb" <bwebb9@juno.com> To: <ILSALINE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, November 07, 2000 20:26 Subject: Re: [ILSALINE-L] Greetings > Faith, > I will check tomorrow (or soon) and see if I have anything about him. > I am pretty sure your information given is correct.
