Hi Faith, I just answered Deanna's inquiry before I saw yours. I believe there's more info. around. My great-great-great-grandfather, William Morris, brought his family to Eldorado in about 1840. My mother, Rebecca Morris, I'm almost certain had relatives there named Karnes. Perhaps it was Grace Morris Thompson who may have married a Karnes. My mother mentioned Karnes occasionally.
