WOW, Trev!!!! You are alway there for me!!! And truly amazing guy!!! I have note that Sarah C. VANTREASE had married to Unknown KELLY. Supposely this is Giles Kelly. She married to him on August 5, 1877 in Saline County, Mrs. Sarah Carter to Giles Kelly. I have also found that Sarah C. Vantrease had married to Alfred Carter. Couldn't find the marriage record of Carter and Vantrease in Illinois. This Alfred Carter is what confuse me. In copy of marriage of Henry Carter and M. A. Souther, it stated that his father is Douglas Carter and mother "Vantrease". On "By whom consent to Marriage given", it is Sarah C. Kelly. So this Sarah C. Kelly is Sarah C. Vantrease Carter Kelly. Is Douglas Carter the same person as Alfred Carter? I am trying to find Douglas Carter. He must have died or something, for Mrs. Sarah Carter to be married to Giles Kelly. I hope somebody here is searching for this Carter of mine. This Carter is hard to track down for there is so many of them....white Carters, Indian Carters, Black Carters. But mine is white Carters.
