Hello, I am interested in finding any kind of info on the 120 Regiment , specifically Company F. I believe this regiment was formed in Saline Co. I would love to hear any suggestions for sources of information such as local books etc. I have the numbers I need from the Civil War Pension Index and am patiently (?) waiting for my NATF Form 80. Is there anyone out there with a "magical" knowledge of the Civil War resources related to the Southern IL area. Thanks to all, and Happy Holidays. Debbie rose@ccountry.net searching PRATHER/DECKER
This address should give you what you seek http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilcivilw/reg_html/120_reg.htm Click on the Adjutant general's history, or Frederick Dyer's regimental history...
