Hi, Doubt if this will be much help but I always thought my mother, Rebecca Morris Heltsley, who grew up in Eldorado, was related to Karnes family members there, probably cousins. I thought it was Grace Karnes, perhaps she was married to a Karnes. Her name later when I interviewed her a few years before she died was Grace Morris Thompson. It was the first such interview I had done and I fear I didn't get as much as I could have. Mother's mother was Nannie Bradshaw, who was married to Thomas D. Morris. Another name that may come up in your research is William Sebron Bradshaw. Good luck. Let me know if these help or I may be of further help.
