I am looking for information on a Sarah Ledbetter that married Jacob Prewitt in Gallatin Co, Illinois on 12 March 1829. I only have one Jacob Prewitt showing up in the 1820, 1830, and 1840 Gallatin Co, Illinois. In 1850, I have a Jacob Prewitt showing up in Saline Co, Illinois. His wife is listed as Susannah. A James Ledbetter, Asa Ledbetter, and Henry Ledbetter in the 1818 Gallatin Co, Illinois Census. In the 1820 Census, James does not apperar, but a widdow, Sarah Ledbetter, show up for the first time. Was she the wife of the James Ledbetter that was listed in 1818? Was she the same Sarah Ledbetter that married Jacob Prewitt? DOES ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THESE LINES? THANKS!
