Hi Saline's Lists, I prayed you can help me on finding my great grandparents, John Henry Carter and his wife Mary Alice Souther. I would like to know for sure what county are from or township, district. Does anybody have the access to the Census in Illinois? John Henry Carter was born August 26, 1869, do not know for sure if he was born in Illinois. His wife, Mary Alice Souther, was born April 28, 1872 or 1873, and also do not know for sure if she was born in Illinois, but it is according to my deceased aunt information that they was born in Illinois. John Henry Carter and Mary Alice Souther have 5 children: Blanch Carter Viva Carter Omer Carter Charlie Carter Beulah Sally Carter, born in Texas in 1901. So between 1890 to 1900, they was in Illinois before they moved to Texas to have my granny Beulah Carter. John Henry Carter's parents are William and Sarah Carter and they have 5 children that I only know of: Sam Carter, Albert Carter, Willie Carter, John Henry Carter, and ?---zo Carter of Illinois. Mary Alice Souther's mother is Martha Souther, for we do not know what is her father name, but they have 6 children: Andrew Souther Earnest Souther Sally Souther Furenda Souther William Souther Mary Alice Souther, born 1872 or 1873.
