There was also a Gaither family (Ebenezer & wife, Miranda) in the Saline 1870 census of Brushy Twp. (this is next door to Cave) which may be a sib to Silas Thomas (I didn't see them in 1860 or 80).... My connection is the Davis/Gaither marriage above.
