There was a Herb (Herbert) Stricklin that played on the same HBG baseball team as my father did and he would be the age or date of birth that you listed. If you have pictures of Herb and he is the one I mentioned then go to the Saline County site and click on Photos and then baseball picture that I posted and he will be some where as a player in that picture.
