I am looking for the family of Henry Newton TATE. I have it that he was from IL but not sure of what county. His second wife Alice McRAY was from Saline County, IL. Henry's death cert. said his father's name was either Don/Dan. Hard to tell. I have not found a Don in Saline County census but there is a Daniel. After Henry married Alice they move to MO, had 2 girls (1 of them was my grandmother), and then moved on down to Dallas County, AR where they died. Henry was born 11-20-1867 and Alice was born6-28-1881 in Saline County, IL. Alice's death cert. says her father's name was Bradley McRAY. My dad said best he could remember Henry had 4 brothers: Albert, Robert, Hubbard (Hub), and James. He also thought Henry had a half brother and half sister. Couldn't remember their names.
