Over 253,000. died in the Civil war from both sides. Brother against brother, an anglo-war in America. Yet , it is played down do to "Political correctness". Barbara Boxer and Feinsten are not the answer-- they are the problem.... They represent a very dumbed down America, write to War Veteran members od Congress and the Senate.. The reason we are denied the knowledge of facts and history is due to Political Correctness .     3. Here in Texas, they removed two bronze placards with the Confederate flag embedded from the Austin, Texas capitol buildings while George W. Bush was still Governor. It was after the SC incident. There was a mild protest after it was done. No one knew that it was going to be done. It was not voted on. People in charge just removed the placards. Georgia has now redone its state flag to remove the embedded Confederate flag. The only remaining state where the Confederate flag remains embedded is Mississippi. This is the same problem as Squaw. The indians say that it means prostitute, and they want it removed from names across the nation. An example is Squaw Valley. Many areas have already changed the name.
