Dear ILSaline-L list subscribers, The following is off the topic of Saline county genealogy. However, I feel if it can help just one person save their hard earned genealogy research and contacts, it will not have been in vain. I have seen many posts on e-mail lists to the effect of "I have lost all of my e-mail and address book files." Awhile back, I too, was having this problem with Microsoft Office 2000. I read all the documentation I could find regarding reinstalling Microsoft Office 2000, because I sure did not want to lose any of my documents. The Microsoft documentation stated "that you can reinstall Microsoft Office 2000 without losing your document files" well, the "My Document" files were all right after the reinstallation but I had lost all of my e-mail and address book files in the Microsoft Outlook folders. After some time by painstakingly going thru all the files on my computer, I finally found all of my old e-mails and address book files. To make a long story short. If you are having this problem.
