My William's 2nd wife was Leatha Harper whom he married on 30 Sep 1830 in Lawrence OH. William died on 10 Oct 1875 in Raleigh TWP IL The son of Wm. RAWLINS and Leatha HARPER was also a William RAWLINS. This son William married Letha Elizabeth 'Sis' GRINDSTAFF on 22 Nov 1876 in Saline Co. Their children included Darius, Hillery and Charles PRICE. One of the daughters of Wm. RAWLINS and Leatha HARPER was Nancy RAWLINS. This daughter Nancy married Preston N. GRINDSTAFF dob unknown, Preston served in the Civil War and died ca 1864.. Maybe we have a match? If not, perhaps you wouldn't mind telling me which RAWLINS and GRINDSTAFF people are in your tree. I have a lot of other RAWLINS folks in my tree.
