HATHAWAY 17 February 1895 in Hartsville, Pope Co IL, daughter of Alexander HATHAWAY and Emily JENNINGS.  She was born 1867 in Golconda, Pope Co IL.     Childrenof Francis AUD and Sarah HATHAWAY are:       5  i. Mabel3 AUD, born 1896.       6  ii. Kenneth AUD, born 1902. *********************************************************************       1. Emily Jane3 JENNINGS (Elijah2, Joseph1) was born 24 July 1848 in PopeCo IL, and died 05 June 1921 in [Funeral held at Old Grandpier, Monday] [72y10m12d].  She married Alexander Nelson HATHAWAY 25 November 1866 in Pope Co IL.  He was born October 1833 in IL and died 14 March 1917 in Pope Co IL. Notes for Emily Jane JENNINGS: Emily J.Jennings, daughter of Elijah [son of Joseph & Elizabeth Shadowin Jennings]  and Mary[Soward] Jennings, was born July 24, 1848 and departed this life June 5, 1921. She was 72 years, 10 months and 12 days old.  Was married to Alexander N. Hathaway Nov. 25, 1866.  To this union were born 3 children,  Sarah J. Aud of Harrisburg, Mary E.Wasson, of Oak, and Julia A. Gee, of Harrisburg.  She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Missionary Baptist church,but in later years joined the Primitive Baptist church at Old Grandpier, where she remained a faithful member until death.         Grandma leaves to mourn her departure three children, three brothers, Lee, of St. Louis, Ulysses, of Tansill, Otto, of Metropolis, two sisters, Mary Peel, of Tansill and Armada Davidson of Golconda.  Also a host of friends and other relatives.       Children of Emily JENNINGS and Alexander HATHAWAY are:       2 i. Sarah J.4 HATHAWAY, born 1867 in Golconda, Pope Co IL.  She married Francis R. AUD 17 February 1895 in Hartsville, Pope Co IL; born 1863 in Herald,White Co IL.       3 ii. Mary Ellen HATHAWAY, born 02 November 1869 in Pope Co IL; died 20 March 1966 in Sunday 12:20 am Massac Co IL (Bethesdaem).  She married Andrew Jackson WASSON 01 January 1890 in Pope Co IL; born 01 June 1861 in Hartsville, Pope Co IL; died 22 September 1949 in Saline Co IL (Bethesda Cem).
