I recently researched the family of Thompson M. Young (b. 1833) and his wife Sarah Haley (b. 1844), while in Salt Lake and would like to share data re: this line. They both died in Kansas, however, the HALEY family appears in the 1850 and 1860 census records for Saline County. Can anyone identify Joseph YOUNG, died near Vicksburg, Mississippi 19 February 1863?
