Shirley and Shelly, I also have a great grandmother Bain. She was b. 1837. m. bef 1872 Saline Co. Her name was Arena, and my grandmother was Louella, b. 1872. I would love to trade info with both/either of you. I do not know Arena's parents names She was born in Illinois, Her mother in SC and father in NC, taken from a Census after she married George W. Hudgins. If I connect Shelly, it could be Sally Ann is a nice to Arena, a child of her brother (perhaps Charles F. Bain.).
