Ilm looking for information on : HANSELMAN, Simon, George, They lived in Saline county, 1900 census. George Washington Hanselman was my grandfather , and I do have a good deal of information on this family . But I would like more on his siblings or other family members, if anyone has any pictures with them in them. Would be greatly appriciated. SIMPSON, Anna, Stella, Sallie, Mollie, all were listed in the 1900 census. Anna was head of household. Callie also was listed as grandaughter. MOLLIE, was my grandmother, she married George Washington Hanselman in 1902 and we believe she died in childbirth in 1902, givingbirth to my father. Any help with the family history of this family would be greatfully appriciated. Thank you Mary Scott
I am looking for any descendants of Thomas and Sarah Eleanor HALL (nee MILLS) and their children, all born in England. Eldest daughter, Margaret (Maggie) WADE formerly SCOTT (nee HALL), (1891 - 1969) and both husbands called Walter, had a daughter Sarah (Lena) SCOTT, born 1909 and a son Walter Harry SCOTT, born 1913. Also Margaret WADE born 1924. Margaret WADE married Attorney Robert FURMAN and had a son Robert. Walter SCOTT married Virginia PICKFORD and they had a daughter named Carol Deborah SCOTT. Youngest daughter, Mary Ann HALL married Ray ESTES and they had a daughter named Mary Ann ESTES, born 1923 who married someone called WOOD. Youngest son, Thomas HALL married Ruth CLARK and they had a son Robert, before Thomas was killed in a mining accident in 1926. I have been unable to find Robert HALL on the 1930 census; finding him would be a step forward. I have the obits. for Thomas, Sarah, Thomas Jnr. and elder son, Robert Adam HALL, also killed in a mining accident. I also have newspaper reports from the Harrisburg Daily Register, but they only cover the 1940s and 1950s. Thomas (Senior) was my great uncle. Any information will be gratefully received. Regards, Gil. HALL. Southampton, England.

Greetings Listers! Please pardon the interruption, and if you've recieved this message on another list, please delete with my apologies. I just want to remind everyone that the National Genealogical Society Conference In The States is being held in Chicago this year, from June 7th thru June 10th! If you've never been to a national genealogical conference you really need to make it to this one. It doesn't matter if you're brand new to genealogy or have been doing it for years - this conference has something for everyone! This is an excellent opportunity to brush up on your genealogy skills - great speakers and programs. And also to take advantage of the wonderful research facilities available in the greater Chicagoland area. Those of us who had ancestors who lived in, or migrated through the Midwest can find valuable resources at places like the Newberry Library and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Great Lakes Region to name just two! You can save money with Early-Bird Registration by April 21st. If you would like a registration brochure just let me know and I'll see that you get one mailed to you, or you can find all the information and even register online - see the link below! If you belong to a Genealogical or Historical Society that would like to exhibit I can help with that too. If you have any questions just write to me off list! If you are going I'd love to hear from you - it would be nice to meet and put faces to names I've been seeing on the Illinois mail list. Time to plan for some summer fun with genealogy! Hope to see you there. Best Regards, Beverly Levine Smallwood Publicity Committee Member NGS Chicago 2006 Volunteers Wanted!
