I guess I was any where near as clear as I thought. :-) I was only explaining how to check on list emails without emaiing the entire list; I wasn't asking if everying was receiving or not receiving my email. Sorry for the confusion.

    3. Hi Linda, One way to check on activity for a given list is to go to Rootsweb and take a quick peek. For example, for the Pope County list: Go to Rootsweb.com, click on Mailing Lists, select IL under USA, and then find Pope County. If you click on "Browse the ILPope Archives," you will see a list for every month and year that Pope County has been active within Rootsweb. Click on the most recent one, and you will see if there has been any activity on the list. If there has not been, then you know you haven't missed anything. Good luck, Judy -----Original Message----- >From: dolluver01@insightbb.com >Sent: Oct 31, 2006 2:25 PM >To: ILJOHNSON <ILJOHNSON@rootsweb.com>, ILPOPE <ILPOPE@rootsweb.com>, ILSALINE <ILSALINE@rootsweb.com>, Williamson Co <ILWILLIA@rootsweb.com> >Subject: [ILPOPE] test > >I checking to see if I am coming through on the list as I have not received anything from Johnson, Williamson, Saline or Pope in the last week. 3. Does the name Frank GEORGE (aka Frank Yorch) from Bremen, Germany ring any bells in your family tree? I have a book "Declaration of Intention-Saline County, Illinois for the years 1906-1919 and 1930-1950" by Rebecca Schmook that includes that name. He was living in Ledford (between Harrisburg and Carrier Mills) in 1937. I can transcribe the whole paragraph if this is of any interest to you. I don't find any of the other names you mention in this particular book. 2. Hey, I will use the quiet time for my selfish family search. I am looking for any of the "Boyle" family that might have been in the area. My grandfather was born and raised in Shawneetown Illinois. I know this is Gallatin Co but since you are so close. Here it goes. Looking for any connections. Zinn, Lawler, Boyle, George, Robinette Christian Zinn buried Annie George Boyle in 1883 in the Zinn-Ozee cemetery. Also Thomas Boyle, who came from Ireland. Thomas worked for the Lawler's at his death. Thomas is also buried in the Zinn-Ozee cemetery. I believe William Boyle, husband of Annie, upped and left his two young children with the Zinns. He was never heard from again. I am searching for his death and burial. I think he ended up in Chicago. I would love to get in touch with the Zinn extended family and see if they have any info for me. I believe a Zinn married a Robinette. My grandfather George died in the Robinett home in 1945 in Illinois. Can anyone help me with this family. Thomas had two known brothers, James and John. I think they also ended up in Illinois. Thomas was born in 1814 and came over with brothers in 1847. Is any of this hitting any cords. Thank you so much for reading this saga. Dianne
