Hello List, According to the 1880 census on Family Search.org, my ancestor John G. Fulton and his family were living in Galatia, Saline Co, IL. John G. Fulton. dob Oct 11, 1836, PA, served in the Union Army from IL.? Sometime during the Civil War he and his family moved to Cairo, IL.? It is unknown when he moved to Galatia nor the reason.? In approximately 1881 the family moved to Wichita, KS. If anyone on this list has any information about his years in Galatia, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you. I'm looking for those researching this line - in particular Horatio Roberts COFFEE, born 1794 in Maryland and a likely sibling, Charles Grandison COFFEE, born 1803 in Maryland. This family has direct ties to one of my direct lines - RHINE. Also, is there any proof or conjecture that the COFFEE family is related in any way to those that spelled their surname COFFEY, who also resided in Saline County?
