    3. I dont know of your Jackons that you are hunting, but they might connect to mine. I have been hunting the family of Elizabeth Jackson, who married William P. Griffin in Pope county in the early 1850s. If this might ring a bell, then we are a bit closer. 3. I'm not really sure if I am in the same ballpark or not. However, my oldest sister married a Jackson, and the name Allen has almost always been used for the first born son. Her husband's name is George Allen, her son's name is William Allen, and his son's name is Jordan Allen. I know that Allen is a very strong family name.........I'll check on it. I know that George Allen's dad's name was Eugene Jackson born early 1900's..... 3. Hi, Yes I have the information on Eli P. Vinyard, who is the 3rd generation from my Amos Vinyard. Interesting that the name Amos is used in your line, and location near other Vinyards/Vineyards that settled in the So. Ill, area. I am wondering about cousins and side lines. I would be happy to share with you what I have and if you could send me anything on your line, perhaps we will find a link somewhere. I am in contact with a man named Earl Vinyard. He tells me he is a descendant of Anderson A. Vinyard. This is a complete surprise to me as we thought we had found all his children. So it goes with this genealogy work, just when you think you have it figured out, you discover otherwise.
