Does anyone have a 1900 census or soundex that could do a lookup for Eldorado, Saline Co. for McGuinn. Having a terrible time locating a Martin McGuinn, wife Catherine and their children. One child as young as three. Also trying to find out if Thomas McDonald and his wife Mary Aldredge and children were in Eldorado at this time. They were originally from IN. If not in 1900 maybe in 1910. I am at a dead end as to where these families went. James J McGuinn and wife Cecelia McDonald were listed in the 1920 census. Any information would be greatly appreciated on any McGuinn's. A big thank you in advance! Judy
Need a look up on ( subject) he was the son of Andrew j Blankenship of Gallatin / Saline co, should be on the 1870 / 80 census. he was known to use the name Everett ( soundex ) ......................Thanks......Ron Blankenship .......
Hello Everyone, This is my first post to the list, and it isnt a very good one. The reason being is that I am looking for my Calvin BLANKENSHIP without much to go on. I am sending this to the Illinois lists because I am thinking that since his wife was born in IL and her parents in TN, that maybe the Blankenship's moved from TN to IL, then to MO. Unfortunately I do not have last names for the women born in IL, but I figure that if I start shooting in the dark long enough, I will hit something. I estimate the Blankenship's migrating to IL after 1825. I found Calvin BLANKENSHIP married to DELIAH on the 1850 Texas County, MO census. Living next door to Calvin is WILLIAM BLANKENSHIP and his wife, PAMELA JANE. Since Calvin was only a couple of years older than William, I have to assume they are related, if not brothers, because they were the only Blankenships in TExas County at this time and they were both born in TN and both of their wives in IL (just thought that was interesting). SInce Calvin Died during the civil war (there is no record on him except a muster roll, since he was a confederate), he wasnt around when the government started asking where their parents were born. I followed Deiliah until 1880. I estimate her time of death between 1881-1883. I followed William, and he lists his parents as also being born in TN ..... although its a shot in the dark, is there anyone out there that has a link to a BLANKENSHIP's that had a son named Calvin, (who was born abt 1820-25) and/or William (b. abt.1823-1826). I do not have Calvin's parents names or their wives maiden names. I am hoping to connect them to someone who might be able to shed some light on this for me .... Thank you in advance!!!!
This so called virus, was going around last winter.
Sam: I've been looking for my DUNNS: haven't been able to come up with dates of death or places of burial. Could you check your list for: Joseph DUNN, b. abt 1809, d. bet. 1870-1880 Lucinda DUNN, b. abt 1812, d. after 1880 Robert DUNN, b. abt 1834, d. after 1880 Elizabeth DUNN, b. abt 1839, d. after 1880 Thanks, Kay Davidson
I recently went to the Reid Cemetery, off Hwy 145 in southern Saline Co. While there I noted a number of DUNNs burried there. Does anyone on the list have DUNN kin burried at Reid? If so, I would like to swap information. I have DUNN kin burried at Reed Cemetery (just off Hwy 145 and just north of Pope Co. line) and at Palestine (also southern Saline County west of Hwy 145), but I cannot tie into the DUNNs at Reid. Donna, Thanks for your reply. I drain down though the Greer's. Most of my information came from Bea O'Quinn. She has them both born about 1793, John in Georgia and Polly in Virginia. Also has Polly as Mary "Polly", married about 1814 Tennessee. 10 Children. If you have other dates or more on them I would appreciate seeing it. If you would like the info on the children I can put it into a file and send to you. Regards, Norm
