This book is available at RandolphCounty Gen. Society. The Adams family came from Ireland to NC about 1804 (John Adams). He spent time in KY and there he married Jane Carson, the dau of Capt. Andrew & Margaret Eliz. (Blackwell) Carson. This info came from the book. If you did not see the order form, just let me know and I will send it again. Am researching the family of Wm H. EDMONDS in Cottage Grove, Saline County,IL. I know that there were at least four children: Flora b. abt 1878, Luther b. abt. Feb. 1880, James W. b. 18 March 1882, and Evert b. 1884. I believe William's first wife was Harriet PIERCE. Can anyone give me some help as to what happened to any of them? I do know that James Walter came to California where he married and died in 1943. Thanks for any assistance. Jan

I just realized that the last two or three items <ILSALINE-D@rootsweb.com>that I've received, haven't contained anything other than "Today's Topics". Is this all I should be receiving? For <ILKANE-D@rootsweb.com> I receive copies of the text as welll. I don't understand the difference when they're both supposed to be the Digest version rather than the list version. If I'm not going to be able to see the messages, I'd rather be on the the List, ot the Digest. Does anyone have an address and/or phone number for the Big Ridge Cemetery, Cottage Township, Saline Co IL? Thanks, Susan in Oregon
I found Thomas COTTAM married Eliza Steels on 19 Sep 1866 #2121. Velda Moore
Donna, Thank you for the info on Orlando and Della Byrom. Don't see the in the listings as being buried at Blockhouse. Maybe stones are unreadable. Any idea who Della Sisk's parents were? Connie
David Price and Mary Jane Rawlins do not show in my Cemetery Books. Do they appear in the Census. I know the courthouse burned down as my Mother could not get a birth certificate and could only get a copy of Census and in that their last names were spelled wrong. I will check my Census Records later today. Patricia Harper: At Wolf Creek Cemetery: Vickery, William M. 26 Feb 1860 - 28 June 1911 Ella, His Wife 26 Apr 1866 - I have the Wright-Vickery Funeral Home Records of Shawneetown, IL 1915-1996 and it lists a lot of Vickery's and Leonberger. Send me some specific names to look for.' Connie
To Patricia Ann Hooper: Couldn't help noticing the Hooper name. While I have not been actively researching that surname, I have ended up with considerable information due to a HOOPER that married into an AVERY line (which I have been actively working on). If your HOOPERs came from Cornwall, England, I may have some info that would be of interest to you. Jo Ann Avery Henderson Higdon Bermuda Dunes, CA, USA e-mail: RLHCPA@AOL.COM
