    3. Hi Mary, Geez, I have thought I would never see any Wiggins, Kelley, Carter in this Saline's list. This is the line I am searching on too. Please get in touch with me to see if we are searching for same people. Do you have Mrs. Sarah Carter married to Giles Kelley?? Or Alonzo Kelley married to Etta Wiggins?? Joseph T. Wiggins married to Myra Ann Vantrease?? This Lowery you have, could it be Lowe?? I also have Lowe that I am searching for. Mrs. Sarah Carter is my great-great grandmother and she was married to Douglas Carter and their children are: Alfred Carter, Ellie Carter, Sam Carter, Henry Carter. Then Douglas Carter died and she married to Giles Kelly in Saline County. Giles and Sarah Kelly had several children. Several of the families were married in Saline County and some of them in Hamilton County. My families was also in Raleigh Precient, Tate Township, and I am sure in Cornerville too. Does any ring the bell to you? Let me know who is your Wiggins, Kelley, Carter. Shoot, this Pemberton had married several of my ancestors!!! I've seen Pemberton's name many times on the marriage licenses. 1. [ILSALINE-L] Richard M. Ford & Love family
    2. Jon Musgrave
    3. Hello, Does anyone have more information on the Fords and Loves mentioned in the following query I received? Jon Musgrave www.lllinoisHistory.com I received a copy of the marriage record for Richard M. Ford, so am sending along information from that: MARRIAGE: Per marriage License No. 613, dated 2 Aug 1890, Richard M. FORD, age 20, white, a farmer, born in Hardin Co. IL and a resident of Gallatin Co., IL, stated that his father's name was Eligah FORD and his mother's maiden name was ______ LOVE(?) (first name not given and last name difficult to read). He stated that this was his first marriage. Annie E. BROWN, age 17, white, born in Hardin Co., IL, and a resident of Gallatin Co., IL stated that her father's name was James BROWN and her mother's maiden name was HALE (first name not given). She stated that this was her first marriage. The license was issued by Silas COOK, and signed by Jo. L. HOWELL, Deputy for Silas COOK, County Clerk, in Shawneetown, IL, on 2 Aug. 1890. The marriage was performed by George J. VINEYARD, Justice of the Peace for Gallatin Co., IL at the Bride's residence in Gallatin Co., on 2 Aug 1890. Witnesses to the marriage were John BLAKELY and Richard BLACK. The date of the return was 8 Aug 1890 and the marriage was registered on 26 May 1891. Her is a record of a marriage that Winona and I had for Richard FORD's sister, Rebecca: MARRIAGE: Per Register of Marriages, License No. 339, dated 22 April 1894, John C. BLAKELY, states that he is 25 years of age, white, a farmer, born in and also a resident of Gallatin County, IL . He gives his father's name as John BLAKELY and his mother's name as Nancy BOAZ and states that this is his first marriage. Rebbeca FORD states that she is 18 years of age, white, born in Saline County, IL and a resident of Gallatin Co., IL. She gives her father's name as Eligah FORD and her mother's name as Aszina LOVE (?) and states that this is her first marriage. The marriage was performed at Leamington on 22 April, 1894. The marriage was witnessed by Edward LEAVEL and certified by J. H. (?) LACKEY. The date of return was 7 May 1894 and the marriage was registered on 9 May 1894. So Richard M. FORD was the brother of John Colley BLAKELY Jr.'s future wife, Rebecca FORD, when a John BLAKELY witnessed the marriage of Richard to Annie E. BROWN on 2 Aug 1890. Was it John Colley BLAKELY, Jr. (1870-1959) or his father John Colley BLAKELY, Sr. (1845-1904) who witnessed the marriage? The other witness of this marriage was a Richard BLACK.
