Many of my relatives are buried there...close relatives and distant. Many friends and acquaintances are buried there, too. The Spring Valley Cemetery is about 13 miles south of Harrisburg. From Harrisburg you take HWY 145 South to Mitchellsville. There you take HWY 34 East approximately 4 to 5 miles. There will be a sign for Spring Valley Social Brethern Church on the right hand side of Hwy. Turn right (south) onto this gravel road and follow it approx 1 mile to the church. The cemetery is next to the church. Our family has many relatives there, DUNCAN, TARLTON, WOMACK, GIBBS, MATTINLY, FOLLOWELL, KILLMAN, along with a few others. Good luck in your search. B. And also would like to find the name of Thomas Moore and Nancy Bean's son. to see if maybe he was born in White CO 1881. In the Saline Co marriage book (1847-1880), Thomas P. Moore, age 20, born Saline Co, married 4 Nov 1879 to Nancy Bean, age 13, born Saline Co.. Groomspersons were: Fuel Moore & Elvira Easley. Bridespersons were: Thomas Bean & Ema(sp) Cummins.
