Hi all, I am a new user so please excuse any mistakes I might make. I am looking for information on Seat or Seats in Saline County. My great gradmother was Clara Seats (in the family Bible it is spelled with an s, but we have a picture of her next to a tombstone and it is spelled Seat)I am not sure the tombstone is her parents but I believe that is who it must be. Years ago I went to the Sheldon cementary but at that time I didnt know any names of relatives and I believe John T was buried there but he didnt have a marker Arley Sheldon used to visit us when I was growing up but at that time I wasnt interested in genealogy or really asking anything about the folks Now every one has passed on and no one to ask My Dad didnt know much about his Sheldon kin as his Dad died when he was quite young I didnt know the names of my ggrandparents until recently or the name of John Ts siblings If you have any stories or such about any of them I would appreciate anything I see the names on paper but they dont mean as much if I knew something about them Thanks for any help Jean

I'm here but I missed the obit in the evening paper, which I don't see on a regular basis. I didn't see anyone like that in the morning paper.
