Most librarys will copy an obit for you and mail it to you. The Eldorado Library phone no. is 273-7922. Johnny Bond

    3. Halltown was in Tate Twp, NW corner of the county. There is a Halltown Cemetery. I have a transcription of the cemetery, which is probably not very complete. But it has James H. McFarland 9/9/1851-8/31/1936. There are several other McFarlands listed. I believe they all connect to my Halls. 2. Suzi Wilson
    3. Melinda, The Daily Journal was started in 1911, so I am sure that if the original obit was in the paper, that it would be in the Library on Microfiche, or if not the Eldorado Library, then maybe the Library in Harrisburg. The newspaper in Eldorado does not have the Microfiche machine, the Daily Register in Harrisburg does. *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 5/24/01 at 12:36 PM Melinda Jacquier wrote: >Hello, >I am wondering if there was a newspaper in the Eldorado area in May 1914 >that might have the obituary of a relative of mine. >The person I am interested in is David H. 1. [ILSALINE-L] Re: Seat/Coffee
    2. I have followed the SEAT inquiries with much interest....looking for some clues. Charles Hiram COFFEE b. abt 1853, Saline Co, son of James C. and Matilda Hamilton Coffee, married Mary Elizabeth SEAT(s) born Aug 1851, in Wilson Co., TN Mary E SEAT has been a brick wall for several years! I have not found any information on her, and have been to the Wilson Co Archives twice with no luck!! I wonder if she may be kin to John K. born 1850 TN that was mentioned, as well as the Robert D. that married Mary Coffee. I will be going back to TN in July, and will gladly drive up to Wilson County (again!) if there is a shread of hope here!! 3. Is Cottage Grove Cemetery inactive? I cannot find it listed in an online telephone directory. I would like to write to whoever has the cemetery records to see if they may have a more specific date of death for someone whose gravestone only lists the year of death (1900), and who has no civil death certificate in Saline County.
