M. of Presentation convent; cousin of Mrs. Mae Dandurand; grandfather of three. Funeral Tuesday, 8:30 a.m., from Pfaff Funeral Home, 5001 N. Lincoln avenue, to Queen of Angels church. Mass 9 a.m. Interment All Saints. Resting at 8-1700 Here's his daughter's obit: Telegraph Herald (Dubuque, IA) - January 23, 2002 Deceased Name: Sister Mary LaSalette Zegers , BVM Sister Mary LaSalette Zegers, BVM, 90, of Marian Hall, 1050 Carmel Drive, died at 2:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Marian Hall. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marian Hall Chapel, with burial in the Mount Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Marian Hall, where there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements. Sister Mary was an elementary school teacher in Omaha and Lincoln, Neb.; San Francisco, Calif.; and Chicago. She also was a special education/deaf education teacher in Chicago. She was born on Jan. 10, 1912, in Chicago, daughter of Dominic and Irene (Hutchinson) Zegers. She made her first profession of religious vows on March 19, 1934; and her final profession of vows on Aug. 15, 1939. Surviving are a niece and nephews; and the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with whom she shared life for 70 years.
