He was married to an Elizabeth. He may have lived in Shawneetown or Equality, Illinois in the mid-1800's. He had sons named Charles and Harry, and more children that I don't know the names of. I do know that he worked as a sharecropper on land owned by a Mr. Miller, and took the last name of Miller for himself. He is said to be Shawnee, but I don't know the name he had before taking Miller as his last name. He sent his sons Charles and Harry to look for work in the coal mines, and they never saw him or the rest of their family again. When Charles went back to try to find them, he was told that they had been relocated, but nobody knew where. If anyone has any information, I would love to hear it.
