    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: bjschmidt18 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.illinois.unknown/12769.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: If the funeral home failed to send in the death certificate it may never show up. I have an uncle that I know where he is buried but the cemetery even had the plot as empty for him and his sister that I got the death certificate on. Their mother, my grandmother, had told me where they were both buried. I have a half-sister buried in 1935 as Vanango, Nebraska. The cemetery records show a child but no parents. The state has no record at all. A sister to the woman told me about the death. Otherwise no one would know anything. It merely says baby Banks because it was at least on the cemetery records.
