They are found on the 1900 Illinois census in Selby, Bureau County,Dist 26. Living with them are children Oscar born 1879 in Sweden, Dau Lena born 1881 in Sweden, and born in Illinois are the following children, Son Victor born 1885, dau Emma born 1887, son Ollie born 1892, dau Alta born 1894 and son Edward born 1896. Emma married Thomas Lyng born 1879 son of Annice (or Anna) Lyng. They are living with Annice in 1910 in Bureau co with two of their sons James Victor born in Illinois,who died as a child in Bureau Co, also son Thomas who was born in Kansas. They were also parents of 3 other boys, Joseph, Charles and Richard. All the boys were put into orphanages as children and went into foster homes or adopted out. Emma later married a man by the last name of Hill.
