Who would I invite. For starters I would like to invite my Gr Gr Grandparents. John and Martha Eaton York. John's father Jeremiah is my Rev soldier I have lots of questions for him. The York's and Eaton's were some of the first settlers in Crawford county. I have John and Martha documented 27 June 1822 when they married in Crawford County. Martha's parents were Benjamin and Phoebe Eaton. Would like to know Phoebe's maiden name can't find anywhere. Would like to know about William Eaton Martha's grandfather. Would like to know why Benjamin and Phoebe were buried on there farm and not in the Eaton Cemetery as it was called then. Eaton's gave the ground that the Grand Prairie Church is on and also the cemetery next to the church. So many of my ancestors are there. John Eaton lived down the road from the church and his home is still there Eaton's still live there. I have much documentation and dates. But there are so many little questions that will never have answers only what you might assume happened. John and Martha for starters. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone.
