I. I have my wires crossed with what I assumed. Although some of the family doc that have been found have infered the famiy was English? We think they were not an Ireland for many generations. There were only 8 house holds of Oughton altogether in Ireland so may be only 2-3 generations. The birth date of 1882 sounds about right for our John R O III. May be I need to to some more looking, or the family will see this and confirm back to me where I've gone wrong. I can not open the Death index you sent me, explorer tells me ilsos.gov does not exist as a web site? Thank you for all the work you have done most of it fits nicely with what we already had.
