HI Cris: The database you refer to is known to be incomplete, and this is stated on the site, I believe. The fact that you don't find the marriage there only means it probably is not there. I think it was 1875 when marriage were more regularly recorded, but not every county complied and recording was not required in IL until 1916 for B-M-D events. Bill
