Have you looked at the records at familysearch.com? They say she was born 4 March 1809 in Sangamon County. There are names and addresses for the people who submitted this information. Maybe a postcard to one of them would help you obtain more info. Maybe someone with access to Ancestry could look for her father in the early 1800's in that county.
