If you can find the daughter in the Illinois Death Index database at the Secretary of State Illinois website (click on Archives on the site), you could look up her obit to see where she might have been living when her father died. You can also look for John. For the death information, you will have to check the Pre-1916 database and the 1916 - 1950 database. Both are on the S.O.State website. Sorry to not be of more help.
